FAQ
REFLEXOLOGY
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a deeply relaxing therapy that I truly enjoy sharing with my clients. It involves applying gentle pressure to specific points on your feet, hands, or ears, which correspond to different organs and systems in the body. This ancient practice promotes healing and balance, helping to release tension and enhance overall wellbeing. I believe that by tapping into the body’s natural healing abilities, reflexology can help reduce stress and improve circulation, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and centred.
How can Reflexology help?
From my experience, reflexology offers numerous benefits that many of my clients find transformative. It’s not just about relaxation; it can relieve stress, ease headaches, and even address digestive issues. Many clients report feeling a renewed sense of calm and clarity after a session. I’ve seen how regular treatments can improve sleep, boost energy levels, and strengthen the immune system. My goal is to help you find balance and harmony in your body and mind, making reflexology a wonderful addition to your self-care routine.
What happens in treatment?
When you come in for your reflexology session, I’ll start with a brief consultation to discuss your health history and any specific concerns you might have. This way, I can tailor the treatment to suit your needs. You’ll then settle into a comfortable position while I apply gentle pressure to the reflex points on your feet or hands. Each session lasts about 60 minutes, allowing you to truly relax and enjoy the experience. Afterwards, we’ll chat about how you felt and any recommendations for future sessions to support your wellbeing.

MASSAGE
What is massage?
Massage is a complementary therapy developed over centuries for health promotion, relaxation, and healing. It seeks to support the entire person—mind, body, and spirit—by addressing imbalances that may arise physiologically, such as soreness, tension, and fatigue, as well as psychologically, including emotional stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue. By integrating these aspects, massage therapy aims to restore balance, enhance wellbeing, and foster a deeper connection between the individual and their body, promoting overall health and vitality.
How can massage help?
The benefits of massage are numerous and varied. It can relieve muscle fatigue, soreness, and stiffness, improving muscle suppleness and flexibility. Massage enhances immunity by stimulating lymph flow, the body’s natural defence system. It promotes faster digestion and effective waste removal, balancing the digestive system while pumping oxygen and vital nutrients into tissues and organs. Furthermore, massage encourages relaxation, slows the heart rate, lowers blood pressure, and helps improve emotional and physical stress, sleep patterns, and skin tone.
What happens in treatment?
During the initial treatment, a brief consultation will gather essential details about your health and ensure the treatment’s suitability. We will also discuss specific areas of tension, such as the shoulders, and agree on the focus and pressure of the massage. The treatment couch can be heated for added comfort, and you will always be draped in towels to maintain your modesty. Gentle music will create a calming atmosphere, and the lights will be dimmed to enhance relaxation. The whole appointment time will be dedicated to the massage, excluding consultation and undressing time, so please aim to arrive on time or five minutes early to benefit from your session fully.

FACIALS
What are my facials?
Numerous types of facials and products are available today, each offering unique benefits. Having personally experienced many, I’ve found that my sensitive skin responds best to natural products. Therefore, I am committed to using only organic, cruelty-free products for my clients. I have trusted Neal’s Yard Remedies for years before working with them in their therapy rooms. While these may not be the trendiest options, their quality and effectiveness make them suitable for all skin types, delivering exceptional results that enhance the skin’s natural beauty.
How can my facials help?
My facials are meticulously designed to cleanse and brighten the skin, promoting a natural glow while providing a complete sense of relaxation. I incorporate various lifting techniques and tools, such as gua sha, jade rollers, and ice globes, to enhance the effects of the products. These tools improve skin tone and help achieve a sculpted effect, allowing for a rejuvenating experience. The overall aim is to leave you feeling refreshed, revitalized, and with a radiant complexion that reflects your inner wellbeing.
What happens in treatment?
During your initial treatment, a brief consultation will be conducted to gather essential details about your overall health and skin condition, ensuring that the treatment and product choices are suitable for you. Products will be selected based on your specific skin type and personal preferences. The facial routine typically includes cleansing, toning, exfoliating, and moisturizing. A mask will be applied for about ten minutes, during which a soothing neck and shoulder massage will take place. Following the mask, a facial massage routine will lift and tone the skin, leaving you feeling rejuvenated.
